Supplement Lab Test

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding supplement compliance on Amazon. Is it mandatory to get lab testing done only through Amazon-approved third-party labs? What if I get my product tested from another ISO-accredited laboratory—will that be accepted?

Would appreciate any guidance or experience shared. Thank you!

Hi @Seller_mq1ayGJOUH3Es,

Amazon accepts testing results from ISO 17025 accredited laboratories, including in-house labs, for dietary supplements on Amazon-approved third-party labs.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • For products already tested by an ISO 17025 accredited lab, you can submit a test request form to an approved Amazon verification service provider.
  • You can provide the existing test results directly to the third-party verification provider if they meet Amazon’s policy requirements.
  • Amazon has identified specific third-party testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) service providers to support compliance, including Eurofins, UL Solutions, and NSF.
  • However, annual verification through a third-party TIC service provider is still required to ensure ongoing compliance with Amazon’s dietary supplement policy.

If you have existing test results from an ISO-accredited lab, I’d recommend submitting them through the Manage Your Compliance dashboard in your Seller Central account. This can potentially streamline the process and reduce additional testing requirements.

Regards,

- Manny
