Aren't all Sealed Lead Acid Batteries Exempt from Dangerous Goods Classification?
We sell sealed lead acid AGM batteries via FBM, and there are over 100,000 other Amazon listings for these types of products. Despite this, I have six ASINs that keep getting flagged as Dangerous Goods (DG), and the listings get deactivated. I've uploaded Exemption Sheets and MSDS docs stating that the products are non-spillable, sealed, AGM batteries. Two of the products are the same brand and product line, so they had essentially the same exemption sheets and an identical MSDS uploaded, but they got different results - one is "DG program fillable" and the other is "unable to classify". I keep disputing the classifications hoping somebody will finally process the Exemption Sheet. Every time I contact Seller Support for it I get the same form email explaining how to fill out the Exemption Form. These batteries were sold on Amazon for years. Why can't I get this resolved? It's like the ninth circle of hell. How do I get past the copy/pasta responses from Support? I've been fighting this for two months.
