A to Z claim granted despite package being delivered
We are writing to express our concern regarding the A-to-z Guarantee Claim filed by a customer for Order ID: 111-6930850-9078666. The claim was initiated on December 30, 2024, nearly three months after the package was delivered. The customer stated that their package didn't arrive with a comment that says "Never got it".
However, the tracking information clearly shows the order was delivered in or at the mailbox at 8:05 pm on November 25, 2024. And to address the claim, we promptly appealed and provided all necessary documentation, including the tracking details proving the package was delivered on time. Despite this, the customer was still granted a full refund.
It is deeply concerning that a claim was filed so long after the delivery date and subsequently resolved in favor of the customer, especially when we provided proof of delivery. This outcome puts sellers at a significant disadvantage, as it suggests that claims can be filed months later without sufficient accountability, resulting in refunds at the seller’s expense.
We respectfully request a thorough review of this case. We believe that the documentation we provided along with the delivery confirmation from the carrier demonstrates that we fulfilled our obligation to deliver the order as promised.
