Lighting Facts and Amazon Policy
Anyone else selling lighting products suddenly getting Product Policy Violations that aren't correct?
I've had a couple dozen violations suddenly get issued to our account and can't seem to get Seller Support to recognize they're categorizing lamps (and sometimes ballasts and fixtures) as requiring a Lighting Facts label when they don't qualify and won't be provided by most manufacturers. We were briefly delisted today because of all the 'violations'. Providing evidence to Seller Support is ignored and kicked back with the exact same language. The most I've appealed so far is the same ASIN 19 times.
Summary: Amazon policy on Lighting (and US Gov't policy) require "General Purpose" lamps to have a Lighting Facts label. Amazon Policy, "Sellers and vendors are required to display Lighting Facts labels on detail pages for most general service “lamps” with medium screw bases, including most incandescent, compact fluorescent, and light-emitting diode light bulbs, as well as specialty consumer lamps.” Lamps with PIN bases or Candelabra bases are being delisted as violations, regardless of evidence they don't qualify.

Hello @Seller_B3hwer5lFHHK9
Thank you for the information provided regarding the recent restricted product concerns that have impacted your account. I understand that our team is requesting the addition of lighting facts, but you do not believe that your product is required to have this information.
Would you be able to provide the specific case information that includes the appeals you have attempted? We will require this information to be able to properly review your situation.
Any other details or information should be provided to this thread for a full understanding.
Best,
Atlas

Certainly, please see below case, ASIN, and the type of base the lamp has that isn't a Medium Screw base (E26 or E27)
15401463301 / B000JLF7YE - Candelabra base (E12)
15401306571 / B001HXDERA - 4-pin base
15390159731 / B000ZLS5C4,B002TWBL6O,B001HXFDU6,B001HXIOJS,B005T4445E,B001D966OQ,B001HXKGEE,B00218Y05K,B000V6SV36,B001HXGQQ6,B001HXGLAC,B001HXIPQ0, Variety of bases, none of which are Medium Screw bases.
Let me know if you'd like to see the ones with appeals granted, there are many. It's very time consuming (one was reappealed 19 times), so my hope is to get the Policy team educated on their own policy regarding lighting to stop the churn.

We also encountered this problem. We wall light is LED integrated, not a bulb, but Amazon still let us provide the Lighting Facts label. It is unreasonable. We found a laboratory hoping to obtain such a label for testing, but the laboratory said that they can not provide such a label for LED integrated lighting fixtures. We feel very confused, we don't know what to do next.
