NAICS CODE and BRC Or Home Occupation Permit
Hello what is the correct NAICS code I am currently selling a variety of toys, Hygiene items, and electronics and I plan on selling a broad variety of items as a amazon FBM seller.
I am currently trying to get a seller permit out of California and it is asking for a nails code the code of 454110 that is recommended everywhere is not letting me use it.
I am also setting up my LLC through amazon and trying to get assistance from SBA community advantage pilot program to do a dba(doing business as) and get a freight company and they are telling me I am missing my business registration certificate for my city. When I call considering my business is set up in my home residence they are telling me to get a home occupation permit will this be the same as a business registration certificate and not effect my credentials as a valid business with all requirements

Step 1: Identify your industry codes
Search the North American Industry Classification System to identify your six-digit industry code. These codes are used to classify business establishments for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and publishing statistical data related to the U.S. economy. NAICS codes are also used to provide small and large businesses standard determinations for specific industries.
To identify your NAICS code(s), go to http://www.census.gov/eos/www/naics:
- In the search box on the top left side of the page, type the category that corresponds to your business.
- Click Search to display a list of matching NAICS codes.
- Choose the code(s) that best describes your business.
