Access to requested resource is denied

Hello I am brand new to ASC and have been trying to scan in my first items through a third party app (Scanlister), and when I try to scan an error message pops up and says "Access to requested resource is denied". I have checked my seller account and it says I am actively connected to the app but when I open Scanlister it gives me and unauthorized error message and i check through Scanlister that I am connected to my seller account and it says connected so I click retest connection and it will say i am no longer connected so i have to go through all the steps of reconnecting through my seller account which I have no problem with and from there i am lost I can not scan any of my inventory, please help.

Why do you need a 3rd party to do something you can do in seconds? Right in Amazon Seller Central, all you have to do is enter a UPC and a price, then submit.
