Same Ltd Company - 2 Seperate Amazon Accounts in a Similar Category

Hi,

We already sell kids bedding products through brand-registered Amazon store. We're looking to sell a different brand of bedding products (same product category) under a different brand. I have a couple of questions:

Is it possible to set up a completely separate Amazon store using the same Ltd company details?

If not I can create a new LTD company, however would Amazon allow me to operate 2 separate Amazon accounts that sell in the same product category?

With ONE seller account you can sell as many brands you want. Why do you want to create an additional Ltd?

You cannot create two seller accounts selling the same things.

Hi Brigitte,

Thanks for your reply. It would certainly be easier to have both under the same account, however one big reason for doing so is if Amazon close 1 account, we still have another account running which spread's the risk.

Seller code of conduct

  • This policy requires that sellers act fairly and honestly on Amazon to ensure a safe buying and selling experience. All sellers must:
  • Provide accurate information to Amazon and our customers at all times
  • Act fairly and not misuse Amazon’s features or services
  • Not attempt to damage or abuse another seller, their listings or ratings
  • Not attempt to influence customers’ ratings, feedback, and reviews
  • Not send unsolicited or inappropriate communications
  • Not contact customers except through Buyer-Seller Messaging
  • Not attempt to circumvent the Amazon sales process
  • Not operate more than one selling account on Amazon without a legitimate business need
  • Not engage in conduct that violates price fixing laws
