My Balance Is Gone

At the beginning of last year, my account was deactivated because they said I was participating in fraud. I was in fact not participating in fraud. They held almost $9000 in my account the entire last year. My financial situation has been horrible ever since they held my money because it put me in so much debt. I was going to take legal action to try and get my money back but I just checked my balance and now it is $0. They wrote my balance off as an “other” expense. I’m struggling with a baby and I need help. I’ve already called and they told me I just need to email the payment team but I’ve sent probably 20 emails with no response. They don’t put me on the phone with anyone. Can someone please help me? Who can I contact?

The funds withholding policy does state you can submit an appeal for your funds after 60 days from the deactivation. It's either reactivate the account to get access to your money or wait those 60 days and see what they request from you for that.

I assume you were asked for invoices. Sadly, Amazon is quite misleading (no doubt it benefits in many ways) by accepting receipts and invalid invoices to let you start selling a product, but then later demands invoice that comply with policy (BRAND APPROVED wholesale distributor invoices or brand direct with a retailer account)

If you could not provide proper invoices, your funds will remain confiscated. If you did retail arbitrage, your only option is often arbitration and it will eat what ever funds you have. Then Amazon stretches these things out until your remaining balance goes negative....
